Galaxy Angel Rune (ギャラクシーエンジェる~ん Gyarakushī Enjerūn) is the TV anime adaptation of the Galaxy Angel II series. Like the previous anime series, the plotline is miscellaneously unrelated to its counterpart series and themed to be more comedy-slapstick.

The series was not done by Madhouse since at the time, they were too busy with other projects. Thus BROCCOLI took over the animation work by keeping the humor from the previous series with a more serious tone.
